People with housing challenges can find it difficult to collect the credentials and paperwork necessary to verify their identity through traditional means. This often creates barriers to participating in life or accessing services they’re otherwise entitled to. ID.me is committed to helping unhoused people to verify and own their digital identities, which can be a large step in helping them access government and other services.
